Golf Activities & Reforestation
Cornerstone's initial plan for golf at the Four Lakes of Chesapeake community included the restoration and redesign of the back 9 of the existing 18-hole course into a reversible 9-hole golf course.
Based on feedback received during summer 2022, an updated version of the Four Lakes of Chesapeake site plan proposes multiple changes, including:
-
Elimination of the reversible golf course concept.
-
Addition of a state-of-the-art virtual golf experience center, including indoor driving range and putting area.
-
Addition of a small outdoor putting green.
-
Reforestation of about 100 acres of land, which would be protected in perpetuity under a conservation easement with access restricted only to homeowners of Eagle Pointe and Four Lakes of Chesapeake.
We anticipate making additional adjustments based on ongoing discussions with homeowners of Eagle Pointe.
