Our latest draft site plan is below. This is not a final proposal. We anticipate making additional adjustments based on feedback from ongoing discussions.
Highlights of this iteration:
BUFFERS AND ACCESS
-
Reduces the number of homes adjacent to the electric power line easement to just nine detached houses.
-
Increases the distance between Eagle Pointe and Four Lakes homes at this location to more than 200 feet. The initial Four Lakes plan had 42 townhomes in this area, with a distance of 170 feet between homes in Eagle Pointe and Four Lakes.
-
Eliminates the driving range and concerns of errant golf balls, ugly netting and lighting.
-
Eliminates vehicle access – except for emergency vehicles – between the two communities while enhancing buffers and landscaping, including the planting of an orchard on either side of the emergency access road.
GOLF COURSE REFORESTATION
-
Eliminates the reversible golf course planned for the front 9 holes.
-
Adds an indoor virtual driving range and state-of-the-art virtual golf center, as well as a putting area.
-
Protects about 100 acres, including the back 9 holes, under a conservation easement, providing restricted access to homeowners in both communities to the natural area.
ENHANCED COMMUNITY AMENITIES
-
Maintains an organic farm, general store and gathering areas.
-
Redesigns the existing clubhouse, cart pavilion and surrounding area.
-
Adds a silo bar, pickleball courts, small amphitheater and outdoor gathering spaces.
-
Converts the clubhouse for multiple uses, including a farm-to-fork restaurant and day spa.
